Simpson has been fortunate serve many of the University of Alabama’s projects, including Lloyd Hall — where we installed stucco at the front entrance.

 

Working around existing historic brass plate that could not be removed, we stuccoed the front columns and the wall behind them. Our skilled tradesmen crafted the stucco to resemble cut limestone block — emulating other buildings on campus with limestone entries.

 

Throughout our 4-week involvement in the project, we maintained easy access to the building’s entry-way.
