At Simpson, we always enjoy being part of a restoration team that brings historic landmarks back to life. It gives us the opportunity to keep history alive, while displaying the craftsmanship in which we take great pride. So when the Redmont Hotel here in Birmingham announced plans for a complete renovation in 2015, we were thrilled to be involved.

 

Our responsibilities on this project included inspecting and surveying existing plaster, replacing all damaged framing lath, then installing the new plaster base-coat and finish. The ceiling we repaired was approximately 4000 sq ft.
