In 2015 Simpson Plastering completed an exterior project for Watercrest Condominiums, an elegant 18 story high-rise in Panama City, FL. Our team tore-off the existing stucco and sheathing and removed the windows. We then reinstalled the sheathings, flashings, and entire stucco system. Our 6-man crew used a mast-climbing platform scaffold to complete the job.

 

This stucco project presented significant logistical challenges, as we were working with an existing pool deck, existing landscaping, and permanent tenants. During the project, we removed the trees and landscaping — then put everything back in place after the job was completed. We also protected the pool deck, using plywood and foam.

 

Ultimately, we managed to keep the job moving smoothly, with an absolute minimum number of complaints, by maintaining open communication with the tenants throughout the process.
