In 2015 Simpson’s waterproofing, fire-proofing and stucco teams all helped to complete a mixed use development located in the heart of Montgomery. We maintained a large workforce for the duration if this job to install a traditional three coat Cook’s stucco system with decorative EPS shapes and an acrylic finish, and install a Cherokee thin brick exterior veneer system over framed exterior walls. We installed spray applied fire proofing on the first floor structural steel areas. Our craftsmen completed around 25,000 square feet of exterior work on this building leaving almost nothing on the punch list.
To wrap up the project we waterproofed below grade foundation walls and elevator pits, caulked exterior dissimilar substrates, applied a pedestrian traffic coating on the exterior balconies and waterproofed the 2nd floor plaza deck.
Simpson’s onsite management worked closely with the PMs to ensure quality of work and more importantly job site safety. Our hard work paid off and we finished the project two weeks ahead of schedule.
