Our waterproofing team spent an entire year working at Grandview Medical Center, Birmingham’s 930,000 sf, 372-bed tertiary care hospital — which opened in October, 2015.

 

We installed interior expansion joint assemblies and recaulked the existing façade’s exterior. We also installed TerrNeo Dryvit Acrylic finish on the parking deck concrete to match the precast building panels. Moreover, our EIFS team installed exterior EIFS, with a roller-applied air barrier behind it.

 

For the TeraNeo finish, we patched voids within the concrete — then leveled it out. This high-end finish, installed in multiple locations, made what would have otherwise been plain-looking concrete nearly indistinguishable from the textured precast panels.
